Round 3: Oxford
Split car drivers who are participating Oxford:
41 Maxwell Chan
26 DJ Kurtis
10 Shane Carter -R-
8 Luke Trigger
22 Tommy Turbo -R-
4 Henry Williams -R-
07 Zachary Fitzwater
The Slim Jim Series is now going bumper cars in Oxford Plains under the lights for a double header. Last season's car were a bit quicker than normal. The series is able to be make cars more slick as well as adjusting the speed. The new models are more towards speed, and everybody is playing bumper cars like it is Six Flags. The cars are looking good right now when passing, but drivers will always try to pass when attempting to pass. Oxford has been one of Slim Jim's iconic for the past couple races. Oxford is the shortest track in the ISCC, and 75 laps per duel can go by very fast. However, too many cautions can really trigger some drivers, because it wears out the drivers' mental state.
For the duel rosters, we will be going by owners points since the series implemented the split car system. If the car is ranked in the odd numbers, it will be in Duel A. Visa versa with the ranks in the even numbers in Duel B. The duel rosters are being posted below:
Duel A
Duel B
Duel A doesn't feature too many short trackers. Rookies Shane Carter and Henry Williams maybe can show that they could win Oxford. However, Porsche Developments and rookie Henry Sandfer are looking for a win. It might be a crazy duel since Oxford can wear everybody's patience, and this roster hardly has that. Duel B has the short trackers that we are looking for. Luke Trigger, Alan Cavagnaro, and Maxwell Chan are the favorites to win this duel. It seems like the roster will be calmer than the Duel A's, but I don't count on it since we got Princess and Jason Percle being aggressive. Maybe rookie Chris Dodd and Chica Louviere can pull an upset for this duel.
Qualifying for Oxford will be posted tomorrow.

The king of poles from last season Maxwell Chan got another one. He's the first split car to get the pole with the new split car system. Highest rookie in this duel is Chan's teammate, Raul Sanchez. Daniel Smith (2nd in points) starts 12th while Cyrus LaTerza (4th in points) starts next Smith in 11th.
I have a couple of things to say about Oxford. There is an incident involving DJ Kurtis and Ryder Smith in practice. DJ Kurtis drove down turns 3 and 4 and took out Ryder Smith and himself in the process. That is the only practice in the round. Duel A roster has hardly any short track talent, and they surprise me. They are much quicker the Duel B roster. Like Kurtis and Carter are good, but they didn't expect the rest to do that well. Maybe they are a few that are good that I didn't see yet. For Duel B, the roster is not balanced. Sure, the big three--Chan, Cavagnaro, and Trigger, are short track's best, but mid-field is more sluggish than Duel A's midfield. Ladies and gentleman, balance in Slim Jim's short track races. You better thank the owners points for that. Finally, Princess Percle has been a real star in the short tracks recently. She continues to do so by starting in last place with lap time of 15.647. Compare to Keyblade's last place time, it is 15.130. That's a half of second. Now compare to Maxwell Chan's time, a 16.799. Good bacon Christ! If Princess has that pace in the race, the field will be starting to lap her in 15 laps. That probably won't happen, but it doesn't mean anything. Every time we go to a short track, she always have a story to tell. It is called The Tales of the Princess.
Release date will be either Wednesday or Thursday. Friday at the latest.

Both drivers in Duel 2:
Dodd: "Yes, a top 5(4th)! Great job by everyone on the 32 team, let's keep this up."
Turbo: "Well, that last incident wasn't necessary, but we still finished the race, 13th."

- Pericles:
- "Well I'll Be Damned, This Short Track is Hella Fun to Drive on! Went Super Sayian on the last restart to give Red Bull their first win, and proved that I have talent by winning my 3rd Win in the 3rd Team I've been on. Winning 3 Races with 3 Different teams is amazing! Great run to Chica in Duel B! Now that we have established ourselves as dangerous threats to this championship...We are going Ham."
Smith:" What the Actual Fuck Sparrow? I'm out for bad blood next week, you have put this upon yourself you impudent driver."

Williams: "Had a bad start at the beginning of the race; I ended up getting spun out. But, we managed to climb up and lead a lap, before finishing 3rd. Awesome job for the Kodak Team and Pontiac Motorsports."
