Round 18: France
The teams head to the brand new Paris Autodrome in France for Round 18. This track was constructed only about a month ago, and IES racing will be the first ever event held here. The track has a good amount of grip, and is extremely fast. In practice, cars were topping 215+ on the straights, and could manage going about 200 in the corners. Luckily, there hasn't been too many incidents, and so we'll have to see if that keeps up as the weekend goes on.
Ryder Smith is back in the point lead this week, with Jordan Davis in 2nd, and DJ Kurtis in 3rd. the group now have a little under 30 points separating them. However, the stage has been changing constantly at this point, and there is surely much potential for further changes.
In the aftermath of the race at Karjala, William Duncan has been handed a hefty penalty. The Arkansas native broke his probation last week by wrecking championship contender Jordan Davis with less than 5 laps to go.
He has been docked 30 points, and his probation has been extended to the end of the season, with any further infractions resulting in a suspension.
Qualifying will be up tomorrow.

Finguy: "...Well, press want's me to bitch but I'm not letting them have it. But yet again, it's the same fault on me. I'm not bitching. Nor I'm not complaining. At least next season I hope to come back here and kick everyone's behind."
