Round 12: Atlanta (The 1 in 70 Presented By M&M's)
This is it. Seventy drivers are competing in this race to see who is going to be that one. Since founded two seasons ago, this event contains inspiring stories, great memories, infamous controversies, and tragic heartbreaks. With Sean Angel winning last season's race, he is looking for another win at the event. However, so far, there hasn't been a 1 in 70 wining the championship. So maybe someone can break the trend. Speaking of Angel, he comes in as the points leader ahead of Cyrus LaTerza by 27 points. There are ten drivers that can take the points leader. (See the top ten in points below) I'm not kidding James Shelly can take the points lead. Just to note, it is double points. This marks the end for most of the driver's chances for a title if can't succeed a good run.
The coverage of the 1 in 70 Presented By M&M's will cover news regarding next season's 1 in 70 location and news, qualifying duels, and the main race.
Next Season's 1 in 70
The 1 in 70 is the most valuable race in the Slim Jim Series. They have limit their track selection to three tracks: Michigan, Fontana, and Chicagoland. The officials will announce the track before the main race begins. With that brewing up, the officials is also considering expanding the field size from 70. Though, it is a catchy name, but change is something that is going to be hard to adjust. There's no final word on how big the field size will be for next season.
Qualifying Duels
With the top 14 in owners points lock in, we need to determine the other 28 spots. There will be two qualifying duels consisting of 28 cars each. The duels are selected the driver with odd owners point position in Duel A and the even position in Duel B. Once organized, the officials will randomly draw the other one-off drivers to their duels. Here's the roster for both duels:
Each duel will be 49 laps. To transfer to the main event, you must finish in the top 14 regardless if you are a lap down or out of the race. There will be no green-white-checker finishes in the duels. Qualfiying will be up during the weekend. The duels will be up Monday or Tuesday.

Re: Round 12: Atlanta (The 1 in 70 Presented By M&M's)
There are some news.
Fontana Takes The Bid
This might be expected to some, but Fontana beats out Chicagoland and Michigan. Fontana had some great racing over the past years. Fontana hosts the finale race of the Junior Series and IES World Championship. The Slim Jim Series did race at Fontana last season with an incredible upset of Peter Sparrow winning the race. The event is planned to race under the lights for 125 laps. With a potential field expansion of the event, Fontana will show the M&M event has greater things to come.
Weeks and Duncan In, Marshall and Sparrow Out
Rookie Dajon Weeks and series champion William Duncan will sub in for Greg Marshall and Peter Sparrow respectively. Weeks and Duncan suffered an incident where they were knocked out of contention to transfer. Both Greg Marshall and Peter Sparrow made the main event. William Duncan will sub in for Boost's Greg Marshall. Team Thunder and Boost Autosport are in working relationship. Dajon Weeks will sub in for his teammate, Peter Sparrow. Sparrow shocked the crowd once again. However, it's a lost cause. Pontiac wanted Weeks to race as the 4 team could be in battle with the 41 and 26 teams. With the substitution taking place, both Duncan and Weeks will have to start in the back respectively.
Results Stand: Chica and Chris Louviere In, Maxwell Chan and Ryan Cooper Out
For those on what's going on, Duel B has a lot of crap on going. Google was going 150 MPH, Baumgartner was 40 MPH faster than Google, and an infamous crash that will probably win a season award and be a top 10 for infamous crashes. It was dank as a dragon and pony mating scene. It was nuts. However, a protest has occurred. Chica and Chris Louviere and Andros Baumgartner wrecked out when the Baumgartner and Google exploded the field. Duel B was left 12 cars remaining when the checked is waved, and Chica finished 10th and Chris finished in 13th. It's enough to make the show, but the argument is they both wreck so they should be out. So how Chan and Cooper got involved with this even they were at Duel A? Here's the interesting thing: They will gather those two drivers who fail to make it in and put them in the main event.
"The results are final. No and's, but's about it," a Slim Jim Series official stated. "The rule is top 14 make the main event regardless of status. Both of the Louvieres in Duel B made the show. I'm still confused why Maxwell and Ryan have to be in. They have a shot, and they fail."
Despite the results stand, there's probably going to be hot topic. The official stated that it's probably once in awhile thing.
