Portuguese Grand Prix Cut from Calendar; Latvia named "European Grand Prix"
The round of Portugal was cut from the Formula X calendar after Estoril's track promoters were convicted of fraud. They were sentenced to 20 years in prison and as of a result, Portugal loses it's spot on the Formula X Calendar.

As of result of Portugal's removal from the schedule, the round of Latvia was moved to the Portuguese GP date, which is later in the year. Considering all of these events occurring, Monte Carlo steps up to the plate and takes Latvia's place as the 6th round of the 2016 Season.


Stewards make controversial decision due to lack of grid boxes.
Due to a lack of grid boxes, Formula X officials have decided to exclude every car that has failed to score a single point this year. This includes TrollScience Formula X, Panasonic Toyota, Subaru Racing Team, and MasterCard Lola. This has stirred up a lot of controversy regarding some drivers who would have a shot at scoring here at this historic track.


Fullerton V. Petit
An incident occurred between Spencer Fullerton and Mattieu Petit during the Spanish Grand Prix. Petit had trouble getting to 6th gear, and Fullerton goes to his outside with Mario Sa diving to the inside of the 15. Petit then keeps going straight and Spencer had nowhere to go and plow into the 15 car, causing both cars to retire from the race. Lafitte Formula Racing then filed an appeal regarding the incident and was approved. In conclusion, Formula X Officials will not penalize Mattieu Petit for the incident regarding himself and Spencer Fullerton


Qualifying will go up later.

Petit: "We had a mechanical failure. Simply put. I was able to talk to Fullerton after the race and I feel we have smoothed things over and are able to move on from the incident."

Finguy: "I'm happy the guys and girls in American United and Formula X letting me have the chance to take a few laps in Monaco. Even had a thing with Cox where we swapped rides and well... That was fun. Anyways, something to look forward to this weekend that I'm here and, strengthen the ISCC community."

Wilhoit: Finguy had actually set some impressive lap times. I'd keep my eye on him for future reference!

Saarinen: "Behind 8 ball because could not get a clean lap"

Wilhoit: "Jesus, it's raining hard this morning! According to the radar, I think we may have start the race in the wet for the first time."

Finguy: "I rather be home in my Camry in IES next season. But I'm open to one-offs if any. Kinda talking to Cox for a Sony 400 appearance."
