Round 8: Buffalo Downs
HOLY SHIT! Are we back? Yeah we are (for now).
Anyway.
With four races left for the 1 in 70, drivers in the middle of standings can't find for the points lead. They are fighting to get in the main show and score with double points. It will factor if you are fighting for the championship or even a World Finals III spot. Nick Pericles took the points lead for the first time ever in this series. Cyrus LaTerza manages to stay in 2nd in the points (19 back) over Dillon Young (24 back).
For the 1 in 70 top 14 locks, it's also pretty close. Sadly, I don't have the owners standings, but everything will be updated after this race for the next headline. There are two split car teams in the top 14: the 41 team and the 26 team. Jeffery Finguy (if I remember) is the last driver locked in at 14th. Nasu Tsunemochi is the first driver out for the main show lock.
For the race, Buffalo Downs has been a great addition for the ISCC as their primary dirt racing. All three series ran here last season. The lap count is still at 50 laps. It doesn't sound a lot as drivers got to rush to get their finishing positions. This is also a great track for the short trackers like Chan, Cavagnaro, and Trigger. Those are the primary favorites to win unless something very stupid happen like Princess Percle, the worst short tracker in ISCC history, wrecking those three drivers. Oh yeah! It could happen. You know why?!
Because...
Slim Jim.
Qualifying will be out tonight.
Anyway.
