Round 9: Austin
Split car drivers racing in Austin

26 Greg Marshall -R-

Welcome to Austin, Texas for the Speedbowl. Slim Jim Series never raced in Austin while IES and Junior Series did. This is season, they are racing, with of course, some of the series' best short trackers. However, you won't see them because it is doubleheader like Oxford earlier this season. The duels are set by owners points.
The balance is...quite normal. There's no duel where all the major short tracks are in the same duel. Oxford for the second duel, on the other hand, was nuts. If I were to pick which duel is stronger, it would be Duel B. Maxwell Chan and Alan Cavagnaro are in the same duel again. Will Lewis and Cyrus LaTerza are also there as well. Duel A is pretty good like Luke Trigger, James Dalton, and Sean Angel, but some drivers like Dillon Young and Chris Louviere don't have the best short track record in the series.
For the race, this is a brand new track in its second season. It's a one-line track with no progressive banking. If a driver gets overtaken with a train of cars, he or she could be in last place in ten laps. I know, crazy. I heard that Austin is very, very clean except of a duel in the Junior Series last season. I don't know what happen there. If the series gets zero cautions, holy, it will be shock considering how the drivers behave in short tracks.
Yes, everybody including Princess Percle with zero FUCKING points has a shot mathematically to get in the 1 in 70. With a doubleheader, drivers have to be 282 drivers within to stay in contention. So far, no one clinch in the main race of the 1 in 70 yet. Nasu Tsunemochi (15) is the last driver in the main show, and James Dalton (19) is the first driver out. Two split car teams are in the top 14: the 41 and the 26. There could be a third with the 4 team of Henry Williams and Dajon Weeks if they find another great run. After Charlotte, Henry Sandfer is looking in 2nd in drivers. (The 24 team is also 2nd in owners.) Since then, the meltdown is coming back to Sandfer again. I don't have any idea why that is, but he needs to think of something. If not, Kyle Collins, James Dalton, or the split car team of 4 can take Sandfer's 1 in 70 spot.
Qauilfying will be out in an hour.

The race is out. If you want to skip to Duel B to see your drivers, 23:13. Also, there's a meme in the race.
The next race will be at Watkins Glen.
