S3 Round 1 at Arkansas

Season 3 for the Mountain Dew Junior Series is underway with 42 driver who are either developing or racing for fun. We are taking on the Arkansas road course again with a lot of competitive heat from the veterans and rookies. From the best rookie class to hot veterans, this could be the most competitive Junior Series season ever.

With Arkansas practice session concluded, reigning Junior Series champion Alissa Kirby tops the sheet as she is the only driver cracking past 1:25. Some other shocking times are from Chip Davidson and rookie Jessica Shelton, 3rd and 4th respective. Sam Young tops out at 9th. A couple of drivers switching teams are taking their time to adjust like The Wrecking Balls driver, Makoto Yoshizawa (15th) and Boost Autosports Marcos Bruno (20th).
